This 5km time trail race, using a fast traffic free and pancake flat 5km route on footpaths and cycle tracks around Exeter Canal and the River Exe. This event is suitable for people chasing PB's along with novice runners.

This event will be run in Accordance with England Athletics Covid-19 Safety Guidelines. All runners must agree to a participant code of conduct as part of the entry conditions.

⬡ In line UKA advice there will be no finisher medals or rewards.

  1. Be self-sufficient - like as if it were a training run!

  2. Do your homework on the event.

  3. No Spectators Allowed - This doesn’t apply to carers for disabled people, or adults needed to supervise under-18s in a safeguarding role. Where it’s necessary for them to be present, supervising adults should not mix with others from outside their household or support bubble.

Race Instructions:

  1. Race HQ: There will be NO formal Race HQ or baggage store - as per participant code of conduct runner must be self sufficient (like on a training run).

  2. Race Packs: Race numbers will be posted out to everyone before the race

  3. Race Car Park: We are unable to offer a dedicated event car park.   4. Entry & Race Limit: There is a strict entry limit to allow for social distancing. Pre entry online is required, no on the day entry will be available. Capacity will be limited to 60 entries.

  5. Entry Fees: England Athletics Competition License Holder: £13.00 Standard Entry: £15.00

  6. Minimum Age: 11 years old

  7. Toilets, Changing and Showers: The will be no official race toilets - there are public toilets available at Exeter Quayside, they close at 7pm

  8. First Aid: First Aid will be covered by Devon EMS
